Terms and Conditions

This document sets out the terms and conditions for using the website www.dfc.ro, as well as the conditions applicable to orders placed through the online store.

By accessing the website, creating an account, placing an order or using the services provided through the website, the user confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of this document, the following terms shall have the meanings set out below:

  • DFC or Seller – DFC IASI SRL, a Romanian company identified by the details above.
  • Website – the online store available at www.dfc.ro and its subdomains.
  • Customer – any natural or legal person who accesses the website, creates an account, places an order or uses the services provided by DFC.
  • Buyer – any customer who places an order on the website.
  • User – any person who accesses or uses the website, whether or not they have an account.
  • Account – the section of the website accessible by email address and password, allowing the customer to place orders, view order history, invoices and other relevant information.
  • Order – the electronic request submitted by the buyer through the website, expressing the intention to purchase products.

DFC reserves the right to modify or cancel an order in justified situations, including but not limited to: product unavailability, pricing errors, technical errors, incomplete or incorrect customer data or inability to validate the payment.

If an order cannot be fulfilled in whole or in part, the customer will be informed and any amounts paid for undelivered products will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.

4. Online Sales Policy

Access to placing orders is available to any customer, subject to compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

DFC reserves the right to restrict a user’s access to placing orders or to certain payment methods if that user’s conduct may harm the store’s activity, website security or DFC’s legitimate interests.

All prices displayed on the website may be shown in Romanian Lei (RON) and/or Euro (EUR), depending on the selected version of the website, customer location or available currency settings. Unless otherwise stated, prices include VAT according to the applicable legislation.

For customers from the European Union, prices may be displayed and/or charged in EUR. If a currency conversion is applied, the final amount may vary depending on the exchange rate used by the payment processor, bank or card issuer.

The information, images and product descriptions are provided for presentation purposes. DFC makes reasonable efforts to display accurate information; however, minor differences may exist between the presentation images and the actual product, depending on the manufacturer, production batch, technical updates or other specific details.

Promotions, discounts and commercial campaigns are valid within the limits of available stock and during the period indicated on the website.

5. Placing Orders

The customer may place orders by adding the desired products to the shopping cart and completing the checkout process by providing the requested information.

Adding a product to the cart does not represent an automatic reservation of that product. The product is reserved or prepared for delivery only after order confirmation, depending on stock availability.

By completing the order, the buyer confirms that all information provided is real, complete and accurate. DFC cannot be held responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

DFC may contact the customer by phone or email to confirm the order, verify product compatibility, clarify delivery details or obtain any other information necessary for processing the order.

6. Product Availability

Product availability may be displayed on the website using the following statuses:

  • In stock – the product is available in DFC’s stock.
  • Limited stock – the product is available in a reduced quantity.
  • Supplier stock – the product is not available in DFC’s own stock but may be available from a supplier.
  • On request – the product is not immediately available and availability must be checked.
  • Pre-order – the product may be ordered before it becomes available in stock.
  • Out of stock – the product is not available for order.
  • Currently unavailable – the product cannot be sourced at that time.

For products with uncertain availability or products listed as supplier stock, a DFC consultant may contact the customer to confirm the estimated delivery time.

7. Invoicing and Payment

The price, payment method and payment terms are displayed during the checkout process.

DFC issues an invoice for the ordered products in accordance with applicable legislation. The buyer is responsible for providing all information required for the correct issuing of the invoice.

Invoices may be sent electronically by email or made available through the customer account, where this functionality is available.

Payments may be made in RON and/or EUR, depending on the payment methods and currencies available on the website at the time of placing the order.

For online card payments, DFC does not store bank card details. Payments are processed through authorized payment processors, in accordance with applicable security standards.

DFC cannot be held responsible for any bank fees, currency conversion fees or other costs applied by the customer’s bank, card issuer, payment provider or financial institution.

8. Product Delivery

Products are delivered by courier or by other delivery methods available on the website at the time of placing the order.

DFC ensures appropriate packaging of the products and provides the documents related to the order.

Delivery may be available in Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, the Republic of Moldova and other European Union countries, depending on courier availability, destination, product type and applicable commercial conditions.

Delivery times are estimated and may vary depending on product availability, payment confirmation, courier schedule, busy periods, public holidays, customs or transport procedures, or other circumstances beyond DFC’s control.

9. Transfer of Ownership

Ownership of the products is transferred to the buyer upon delivery, after full payment of the products and signing of the transport document or delivery receipt.

10. Right of Withdrawal and Product Returns

The individual buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason, within 14 calendar days, in accordance with the legislation applicable to distance contracts.

The withdrawal period starts from the day on which the buyer or a third party designated by the buyer takes physical possession of the product.

For orders containing several products delivered separately, the withdrawal period starts from the date on which the buyer takes physical possession of the last product.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform DFC of their decision by using the return form available on the website or by sending a clear notification by email.

Returned products should, as far as possible, be in the same condition in which they were delivered, together with accessories, documents and packaging, where applicable.

For paid orders, refunds will be made in accordance with applicable law, after receipt of the returned products or after receipt of proof that the products have been sent back, where the law allows such condition.

11. Products Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal may be limited or excluded in the cases provided by law, including for:

  • products made according to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalized;
  • products which, by their nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate rapidly;
  • sealed products which have been unsealed and cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons;
  • products which, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other goods;
  • services fully performed with the customer’s prior consent, where the customer was informed that they would lose the right of withdrawal after full performance of the service;
  • other situations provided by applicable law.

12. Warranty

Products sold by DFC benefit from warranty conditions in accordance with applicable law and the commercial policies of manufacturers or suppliers.

Warranty certificates may be issued by the manufacturer, importer, supplier or DFC, depending on the product. They may be sent electronically by email or made available through the customer account.

The customer is responsible for checking the product upon receipt and reporting any non-conformity, missing item or issue as soon as possible.

Where the warranty is provided by the manufacturer or an authorized service center, the warranty procedure will be carried out according to the instructions specified in the warranty certificate.

Missing warranty certificates or related documents should be reported to DFC within a reasonable time after receiving the product, at sales@dfc.ro.

13. Intellectual Property Rights

All content available on the website, including logos, texts, images, descriptions, graphic elements, videos, page structure and other materials, belongs to DFC or its partners and is protected by copyright, trademark and intellectual property laws.

Copying, distributing, modifying, publishing, reproducing or using the content for commercial purposes is prohibited without DFC’s prior written consent.

Users may use the website content only for personal, informational and non-commercial purposes, in compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

14. Reviews, Comments, Questions and Answers
